I know we have all heard of Edgar Allan Poe. I, like many others, am intrigued by his dark, creepy poetry. I know the majority of people automatically connect Poe with his poem, “The Raven” and who am I to go against the norms? I attached a copy of that poem here on the off chance you have never read it, or if you want to revisit it. I have also attached a video that I found pretty funny. I am not sure if you all are familiar with the, “Draw My Life” fad on YouTube, but this video is done as if Poe is making a YouTube video following that trend. I especially like this video because it is not only funny, it gives you actual details about Poe’s life. I feel like Poe is one of those poets you either love or hate. I am curious to see how you all feel about Poe. Do you enjoy the poem “The Raven?” I have always been a bit attracted to the creepy things in life, so it’s right up my alley. Tell me what you think about Poe, the video, and “The Raven.”
